Interior Budget Planning Made Simple
A practical way to split your interior budget across kitchen, wardrobes, living, lighting and contingency before you speak to anyone.

How much do interiors cost in India?
For a 2BHK or 3BHK apartment, complete interiors commonly fall between ₹6 lakh and ₹25 lakh depending on area, scope and material grade. These are planning ranges, not quotations; actual cost depends on your specific site and choices.
A sensible budget split
A practical starting split: kitchen 25–30%, wardrobes and storage 25–30%, living and dining 15–20%, lighting and electrical 8–10%, false ceiling and paint 8–10%, and a contingency of 8–10%.
Where to spend and where to save
Spend on carcass material, hardware and the kitchen, which you use daily and which are costly to redo. Save on decor, loose furniture and accessories, which are easy to upgrade later.
